Over the years Zentra Nightclub went through many stages after its original introduction in August of 1999. The mysterious and sleek, Hindi influenced décor immediately grabbed the cities attention as it presented hookah pipes, belly dancers, live camels, and body painters. It was instantly famous to Chicago's trendy inhabitants and became a landmark of the club community in the Weed Street District. Over time as the club market grew in the city Zentra shifted its direction and started to showcase some of the biggest DJ talent the world had to offer. In July of 2003 Zentra went through its first major makeover. Keeping with its original theme we added two floors of new Sound Systems, expanding the main room dance floor, and made major adjustments to the décor throughout the entire club. Today, after years of hard work by many, Zentra still holds its position in the city as a music driven nightclub with an upscale, urbanized status and continues to venture forth in that direction.

The Venue

Zentra Nightclub is a 10,000 square foot Hindi Theme Venue. We are a bi-level Nightclub with 4 different rooms of atmosphere and 3 separate rooms of music including:

VIP Area: Intimate seating, deejay booth, bar, & fireplace.

1st Floor Main Bar Lounge: Booth & sofa seating, 2 smaller dance area, large bar, & deejay booth.

Outside Patio Bar: Outside seating with bar, surrounded by fresh gardening

2nd Floor Main Dance Floor: Huge dance floor, intelligent lighting, custom sound system with deejay booth, & large bar.

The Sound System

The new system on Zentra's main dance floor is a custom built, digitally controlled, fully integrated 5 way audio system. We designed and engineered this high fidelity audio system to reproduce both digital and analog recorded media at dance club levels with a sound quality typical of the finest home audiophile speaker. Club goers have been commenting that they can dance all night on the Zentra Dance floor without the ear fatigue that usually occurs after a night out on a dance floor with a typical sound system. The design of the Windmiller Custom A/V S118 Subwoofer was inspired by the RLA Emerald Subwoofer designed by legendary audio designer, Richard Long. This Subwoofer produces earth shaking bass the way it was meant to be heard. The sound quality is warm, round and very musical without any of the distortion associated with other sub bass cabinets.

8 Windmiller Custom A/V S118 Horn Loaded Subwoofers, each cabinet loaded with:
2 - EV Audio 18" Woofer (DAMN, NOW THAT IS BASS!!)

When you are here sampling the new sound, new lighting and viewing the new decor you will feel very comfortable in the summer nights with the new AC systems. Zentra now has 50 tons of air conditioning blowing through the place. You are also more than welcome to feel the summer nights on our newly gardened outside patio bar which is now open for the summer. Zentra is trying to cover all angles, with lower drink prices, bigger DJ talent & atmosphere upgrades, to please a large variety of clientele.

General Info

ZENTRA NIGHTCLUB is located at 923 West Weed Street , Chicago IL 60622 . That is one half block south from North Ave on Sheffield. To enter Zentra you need to be 21 years of age or older with a valid state ID or drivers license. Crowd range, on average, is 23-26 years old. Reservations

GATHERINGS, PRIVATE PARTIES, VENUE RENTAL

Zentra Nightclub has catered to all types of gatherings, from birthday parties with guests of 5 to 500 people, corporate functions & fund raisers, company holiday parties, private parties featuring catering, open bar packages, etc. Rental Fees, Bar Guarantees, etc. vary pending on the specifics of the party.

Each party package is custom designed to fit the needs and budget of the client. Zentra is available for gatherings during normal business hours and outside our event schedule. Include in your party package proposal the specifics of your gathering; the event (birthday, company party, etc.), date(s) interested in, number of people, time restraints (if any), and other interests like: Open Bar, Cash Bar, Group Discounts, Catering, Table/Section Reservations, etc.

GROUP DISCOUNTS & TABLE/SECTION RESERVATIONS

During normal business hours larger group rates & table/section reservations are available. These advantages are custom designed pending on the size & needs of the party and the event scheduled at Zentra on that specific day. Include all the specific needs of your gathering and date(s) interested in. Accommodations vary for specific dates so if possible include a few possibilities.

Event Sponsorship

Zentra Nightclub holds high profile events that reach the eyes & ears of hundreds of thousand of people from our multiple layers of advertising a year. Most events are marketed nationally and in all forms of local media: Email listings, newspapers, magazines, flyers, radio and considerable number of websites. All sponsors will be heavily promoted alongside the chosen show guaranteed to grab the attention of thousands of people. In the long run, sponsorship can only benefit your company generating consumers to view your company products/logo/websites/etc. This event is a sure win and will generate a massive audience of your specific clientele.

Sponsorship can be handled in many different ways for a wide variety of venders. Exclusive sponsorship in your area of market is available as well. In return for your sponsored dollars/product your companies complete information logo/address/website will be implicated on all flyers distributed throughout the city and suburbs, newspaper/magazine ads, email, & website listings. On the date of the event sponsors will be announced throughout the night and banners can be displayed throughout the nightclub if supplied by sponsor. The sponsored product will be part of the giveaways handed out at the close of the event.
